POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client, a growing leader in the metal coatings industry, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive new business and account growth throughout the Northeast.
You’ll work directly with manufacturers, job shops, designers, and industrial clients to provide powder coating solutions while developing long-term customer relationships.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Develop new business opportunities throughout the Northeast territory.
• Grow and manage existing customer accounts.
• Build relationships with manufacturers, job shops, designers, and industrial clients.
• Present and recommend powder coating solutions based on customer needs.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and account growth.
• Stay current on products, technical specifications, industry trends, and competitors.
• Travel regularly throughout the Northeast to meet with customers and prospects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer success.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Proven B2B sales experience , preferably within powder coatings, industrial coatings, manufacturing, or related industrial products.
• Demonstrated success developing new business and growing existing accounts.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Technical aptitude and ability to understand industrial processes and products.
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a regional sales territory.
• Microsoft Office and general business software proficiency.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent sales experience considered.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Powder coating or industrial coating sales experience.
• Knowledge of the Northeast manufacturing and industrial market.
• Technical or industrial account-development experience.
COMPENSATION
• $60,000–$65,000 base salary.
